I wish I could take responsibility for today's gorgeous bento lunch, but it's really leftover spider roll and inarizushi from last night. I did arrange it artistically in the box, and added pickles and a strawberry.

Last week's bento

Here is an "at home bento." By that I mean bento food, but I didn't put it in a box to go. It's onigiri, miso marinated salmon, turnip green and sesame seed salad, pickles, strawberries, and tomato soup for my son. I also included some left over pub crisps.

Here is our Easter bento prepared by my husband. We were going out with a friend to view the wildflowers. Yes, it's a vat of potato salad. It may not get presentation points, but it's the best potato salad out there.

Here is Tuesday's bento: anago kakiage with rice and pickles. I can't say as it looks that great, but it was delicious.

Bento galore

Okay, now I don't feel so bad....

Check out this bento collection:

Here's a rushed 6:00 am bento for my husband, who didn't want anything too fancy so that the construction workers at his site wouldn't make fun of him!

It's cut up steak, broccoli, pizza (cut up), cherry tomatoes, and the obligatory pickles, though I did offer him olives instead.

A Day Without Seaweed

is well, a day without seaweed.

I guess it was inevitable. This is my bento blog. Sigh.

So, I'll start with my collection of bento boxes.

In my defense, the large box on the bottom is a family box, and two of the boxes belong to my husband and son. So, that just leaves three for me. That's reasonable--right?
